Job summary

RTI Health Solutions in the UK is seeking an experienced medical writer to join our growing Medical Communications and Strategy team. You will draft publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters) and lead client discussions, collaborating with colleagues to deliver polished deliverables.

The role offers a mix of collaborative and independent work in a fast-paced environment requiring strong project management, journal submission oversight, and the ability to communicate complex science clearly

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in the sciences, English, or communications.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing medical or scientific publications.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills including presenting at meetings.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with authors and stakeholders to develop publication plans and medical communications.
Provide project management support from initiation to publication, including proposals and timelines.
Lead meetings and address questions from clients and colleagues.
Evaluate data and summarize it for publications and abstracts.
Develop publications in line with company style and journal guidelines.
Adhere to publication standards including ICMJE and GPP practices.
Manage multiple timelines and cultivate client relationships.
