Bioscript Group in the UK is seeking an experienced Senior Medical Writer to lead the development of clear, accurate content for diverse audiences across therapeutic areas. The role offers hybrid/remote work and exposure to high-profile projects within a supportive Medical Communications team.

You will mentor junior writers, manage budgets and timelines, and collaborate with clients and account teams to shape strategic publication plans while ensuring adherence to industry guidelines.

Qualifications

• Established medical writing experience within a MedComms agency.
• Track record of leading projects, budgets and timelines.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
• Confident communicator with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to adapt writing style across therapeutic areas and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of projects across client accounts, managing budgets, timelines and scope.
• Produce and review written work across multiple therapeutic areas and formats.
• Coach and review junior colleagues to support development.
• Build relationships with clients, KOLs and internal teams.
• Contribute to strategic publication planning with clients and account teams.
• Ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Support business development through pitches and credentials presentations.
