A position has arisen at Tryst Medical Centre for a Senior Medical Receptionist/Administrator within a busy but friendly GP Practice. Previous NHS experience and GP Practice experience would be essential. This role within our Administration/Reception Team is to be responsible for the leadership and supervision of a team of receptionists, ensuring all reception duties are performed effectively and to the required standard and carry out other duties as directed by the management team. To provide an efficient reception service designed to welcome all Tryst Medical Patients.
To support the team in signposting patients to the most appropriate services through telephone call handling or face-to-face at our reception desk, duties also include arranging appointments, results handling, processing prescriptions, scanning correspondence as well as supporting patients and members of the multi-disciplinary team with their enquiries.
The successful applicant must have a welcoming, professional manner who is forward thinking, highly motivated, along with possessing excellent organisational and communication skills, who will work hard to provide an excellent care administrative service to our patients, GPs and wider clinical team.
Hours available are 30 hours (negotiable) over 5 days (Monday-Friday, hours will be between 8am-6pm) we do request that the successful applicant be flexible to fit in with changing demands and needs of working in a healthcare setting and flexibility will be necessary to cover annual leave or sickness absence.
