GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Senior Medical Director, Oncology Clinical Development – Sarcoma, to lead medical oversight across study design, safety and data interpretation. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to guide programme decisions, ensure patient safety, and contribute to regulatory discussions with external experts.

This leadership role requires site presence at UK locations with strategic relocation planned.

Qualifications

Medical degree with specialty training in medical oncology or hematology.
Experience in sarcoma oncology and leading drug development.
Experience in medical monitoring, safety evaluation, and data interpretation.
Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and global regulatory frameworks.
Ability to operate in cross‑functional matrix teams.

Responsabilités

Provide medical oversight across study design, conduct, and data interpretation.
Guide medical monitoring and safety oversight to ensure patient safety standards.
Interpret complex safety and efficacy data to inform programme decisions.
Contribute to regulatory interactions and external scientific engagement.
Support senior medical input into protocol development and study design.
Mentor Medical Directors and contribute to capability development.
