Job summary

Genentech, Inc. is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible MD/PhD oncologist to lead late-stage clinical development strategy (Phase II-III) and support regulatory filings. The role requires >5 years of post-graduate clinical/research experience and >3 years in biopharma clinical development, with strong data interpretation and scientific writing skills.

On-site in Boston, SF, Basel, or Welwyn. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to advance CDP components, KOL

Qualifications

• MD/MBBS or MD(MBBS)/PhD in Oncology & Hematology.
• 5+ years post-grad clinical/scientific research and/or clinical trial experience.
• 3+ years in biopharmaceutical clinical development with late-stage experience.
• 3+ years medical monitoring in life sciences.
• 2+ years engaging with clinical sites, PIs, KOLs.
• Strong understanding of Phase II-III drug development and related trials.

Responsibilities

• Support the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) for assigned molecule(s)/indication(s).
• Collaborate with internal/external partners across multiple functions to align CD strategy and plans.
• Provide clinical science input for regulatory submissions and regulatory documentation.
• Review and contribute to Phase I–III protocols and development plans.
• Track study progress, communicate issues, and suggest mitigation strategies.
