Senior Medical Copywriter

McCann Health London is recruiting for a Senior Medical Copywriter to develop high-quality promotional healthcare content that complies with regulatory standards. The role involves overseeing junior writers, ensuring scientific accuracy, and participating in new business pitches, serving as a scientific and creative leader.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in medical copywriting and mentoring abilities
• Experience in creating communication strategies, tactics, and content
• Confidence in presenting work to clients and handling MLR questions
• Support in new business pitches and organic growth opportunities

Responsibilities:

• Develop compelling, scientifically accurate promotional copy aligned with client briefs
• Understand therapy areas, media formats, and marketing techniques
• Ensure compliance with ABPI code of practice and regulatory standards
• Proficient in Veeva, FUSE, and Proof
• Analyze complex scientific data to produce clear summaries
• Create high-quality medical copy for various channels
• Participate in client meetings and briefings
• Present work confidently and troubleshoot as needed
