Job summary

Protec Camerfield seeks a self-motivated Project Manager to lead mechanical sprinkler and water mist projects from enquiry to final accounts. You will drive financial control, coordinate with design, engineers, and subcontractors, and ensure on-site safety and quality across national projects.

The role requires excellent communication, the ability to travel, and a proactive approach to delivering on time and within budget. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English are required.
• Mechanical engineering qualification is required.
• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management is preferred.
• CSCS Construction Skills Card is required.
• IOSH/SMSTS or equivalent health & safety qualification is expected.

Responsibilities

• Manage sprinkler or water mist installation contracts from enquiry to final accounts.
• Take full financial control of projects, issue purchase and subcontract orders.
• Oversee on-site installation, attend client meetings, ensure health & safety, and produce progress reports.
