Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance of mechanical building services across projects. The role requires strong people management, a track record in project delivery, and the ability to coordinate labour, plant and materials on site.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications in mechanical building services.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience as Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar.
• People management experience.
• Project Management experience beneficial.
• Computer literate with interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel if required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical building services.
• Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Liaise with main contractors and client site team.
• Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ, RAMS, PPE, etc.
• Coordinate plant hire, tools and labour on site.
• Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
• Manage external correspondence.
• Order day-to-day site materials.
• Update progress reports and maintain DMS.
• Manage project-specific scheduling.
• Communicate changes to the Project team.
• Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.
