Job summary

adi Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead mechanical projects in the North West. You will work with leadership to deliver on time and within budget, evaluating large-scale opportunities and coordinating resources for compliant tender submissions.

You will oversee onsite activities, manage budgets, and build strong client relationships while identifying new revenue opportunities. Strong CAD skills and food & beverage experience are essential.

Qualifications

• We would like to hear from candidates with a time-served apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Mechanical/Process Engineering.
• CAD capability to produce and maintain engineering drawings.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry is essential.
• Strong financial and operational management awareness.
• Experience managing customers and stakeholders and a solutions-focused approach.
• Solid Health & Safety management under CDM controls.
• Proven track record of large-budget mechanical projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering mechanical / M&E / Utilities and Process projects from initiation to completion.
• Preparing quotations, securing new work, and contributing to revenue growth.
• Overseeing onsite activities to ensure safety, schedule, and specifications.
• Coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams for seamless execution.
• Monitoring budgets, labour resources, and project performance to meet targets.
• Building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance, drawings, and quality standards.
• Leading project meetings, providing progress updates, and resolving issues.
• Managing project documentation, variations, and handovers to a high standard.
