Job summary

ATA Recruitment is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead on-site projects for a key client in Slough. You will oversee design, procurement and installation of process lines, acting as the main point of contact for the customer and coordinating multiple trades across the site.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background and proven capability to make commercial decisions, with an emphasis on delivering projects within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in running and leading engineering projects.
• Mechanical engineering background.
• Ability to make commercial decisions.
• Ability to build a strong relationship with the site customer.
• Ideal background is leading projects in the food and beverage market.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site projects for the client, coordinating design, procurement and installation.
• Oversee multidisciplinary design teams (mechanical, electrical, software) to meet project requirements.
• Produce project quotations and programmes of work from tender.
• Manage variations and ensure paperwork and compliance for site work.
• Guarantee installation and commissioning meet layout and timescales, with HS compliance.
