Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience in managing large-scale mechanical projects, preferably data centres.
• Trade or Engineering qualification preferred, with experience in major electrical contracts.
• Proven ability to control scope, schedule and budget across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the mechanical scope, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget.
• Analyse, track and manage critical milestone activities to prevent delays.
• Review construction proposals, including scope and cost assessments.
• Lead and mentor project teams including engineers, supervisors and foremen.
• Engage with clients to ensure clear communication and aligned goals.
• Coordinate with design teams and subcontractors to meet scope, budget and timeline.
• Drive productivity with weekly and daily work plans.
• Coordinate day-to-day site operations with package managers.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and progress against schedule.
• Coordinate activities with subcontractors in shared work areas for safe, efficient progress.
