Job summary

Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager on a major Somerset project to own mechanical packages from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover.

Based on site in Somerset, you will lead mechanical subcontractors and site teams, drive programme, quality, safety and commercial performance, and collaborate with electrical, design and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Mechanical Project Management experience within a main contractor or specialist MEP contractor.
• Experience delivering large-scale, technically complex construction projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• A proactive approach with the ability to make decisions and solve problems on site.
• Ability to work site-based in Somerset.

Are you a Senior Mechanical Project Manager looking to take ownership of major mechanical packages on some of the UK and Europe's largest construction projects, with a clear route towards MEP Project Director?

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly growing international main contractor delivering technically complex projects worth billions across the UK and Europe.Based on a major project in Somerset, you will take a leading role in the mechanical delivery, working closely with the wider MEP, construction, commercial and project leadership teams.

Your role as Senior Mechanical Project Manager will include:
