Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead mechanical build services on a high-profile defence project in Manchester. You will drive concept through to delivery, ensuring safety, quality and compliance while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.

You'll manage budgets and programmes, provide technical leadership, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and uphold UK regulations. Strong leadership, communication and risk management are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading mechanical building services projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and safety standards.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules and risks on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage mechanical engineering aspects from concept to completion.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and design oversight for building services systems.
• Monitor budgets and programmes; identify risks and delays; implement mitigations.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines and with clients/stakeholders.
