Job summary

ACCIONA ENERGY is seeking two Senior Mechanical Project Engineers for the Thames Water Coppermills Resilience Project in London. You will support the Mechanical Construction Manager and drive major mechanical work packages from design through handover, coordinating designers, suppliers, subcontractors and site delivery teams to ensure safe, efficient delivery aligned with project goals.

You will bring a degree in mechanical engineering and at least five years' experience on major infrastructure

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience delivering mechanical works on major infra projects (water, utilities, industrial, energy).
Experience managing mechanical subcontractors through procurement, construction and delivery phases.
Strong knowledge of large-diameter metallic piping systems and associated equipment.
Experience reviewing SOW, BOQ, technical specs and tender docs.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of mechanical work packages through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
Manage day-to-day engineering and coordination for major mechanical installations.
Review drawings, specs and BOQs to ensure alignment with project requirements.
Develop and maintain mechanical work packages and technical docs.
Coordinate queries, design clarifications and engineering changes.
Monitor progress and support project controls, reporting and risk management.
