Job summary

ACCIONA ENERGY is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design, installation, and commissioning for water infrastructure projects in London. The role involves design review, site execution, and ensuring compliance with WIMES and Thames Water standards.

You will support both design and on-site phases, supervise subcontractors, manage iTps and RAMS, and contribute to project safety and quality from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in electrical works within utilities, process, or water sector projects.
• Strong understanding of WIMES and Thames Water standards.
• Experience managing subcontractors and technical submittals.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical designs for compliance with standards and specifications.
• Prepare scopes of work, work plans, and phasing strategies for electrical packages.
• Manage material submittals and review supplier offers; prepare Technical Bid Evaluations.
• Develop Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), RAMS, and method statements.
• Supervise electrical works on site; coordinate subcontractors and monitor progress.
• Witness testing, pre-commissioning activities, and support commissioning with clients.
