Job summary

JobsTrackR is actively seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical to take technical ownership of mechanical works on complex construction projects. You will drive design, procurement, installation, testing and handover, collaborating with project managers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure safety and compliance.

You will lead BIM coordination, ensure QA/QC processes, and provide site leadership while mentoring junior engineers and promoting engineering best practice.

Qualifications

• Essential: HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Essential: CSCS and/or SMSTS, SSSTS or equivalent site safety qualification.
• Desirable: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Desirable: Revit and/or BIM coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical design information across projects.
• Manage mechanical procurement packages, submittals and long-lead item planning.
• Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, submittals and method statements.
• Plan and track mechanical engineering and installation activities across fronts.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight of on-site mechanical installation.
