Honeywell Aerospace in Redditch, United Kingdom, is seeking an Experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join the engineering team. The role is hybrid (3 days in office + 2 days at home) and focuses on managing mechanical projects from concept through to production release.

The position requires strong mechanical engineering background, experience running projects, and willingness to work on defense/aerospace programmes.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years mechanical engineering experience
• Experience leading projects in engineering
• Interest or experience in joining processes is a plus
• Good communication and organizational skills

Responsabilités

• Lead engineering of mechanical products from concept to qualification.
• Develop product/test rigs and processes meeting specifications, milestones and cost targets.
• Coordinate tasks for New Product Introduction, productionization and engineering support.
• Support transition from engineering to production within cost/schedule constraints.
• Provide technical proposals and support sales as required.
• Implement process improvements to reduce cost and improve quality.
• Provide engineering support to other teams and produce monthly project reports.
