Job summary

PepsiCo Skelmersdale is seeking skilled Mechanical engineers to keep our manufacturing lines running at peak efficiency. You will perform maintenance, support continuous improvement, and drive reliability across key equipment in a fast-paced snacks factory.

Qualifications

• Problem-solving skills and strong communication.
• Ownership of safety, quality and performance in plant operations.
• Hands-on mechanical knowledge with fault diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance activities in your area of responsibility.
• Support continuous improvement using the PDCA cycle.
• Provide feedback to planners to optimize schedules and parts planning.
• Perform pre- and post-maintenance quality checks.
• Lead lubrication mapping and simplification of lubricants.
• Train autonomous maintenance team on equipment knowledge and routines.
• Lead root cause analysis sessions and provide technical expertise.
• Promote and maintain 5S standards across the plant.
