Job summary

Rimac Energy in Witney, Oxfordshire, is seeking a Mechanical Hardware Designer to own the mechanical design of enclosures, busbars, harness routing and packaging for grid-connected inverters and energy storage hardware.

You will lead end-to-end design from concept through prototype to production, collaborating across mechanical, electrical, CAE, suppliers and manufacturing to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience designing mechanical hardware for electrical/power systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and electrical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own mechanical design for enclosures, busbars, harness routing and packaging.
• Ensure requirements are met and release-ready with documentation.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings and production data.
