Job summary

Mitie is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to deliver complex mechanical installations across plantrooms and energy centres. Responsibilities include producing mechanical cost estimates, interpreting MEP drawings, and collaborating with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in mechanical estimating, a strong technical understanding of mechanical plant, and knowledge of low-carbon technologies. This role requires excellent communication skills and proficiency in estimating software.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in building services or energy infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical plant and ability to interpret MEP drawings.
• Knowledge of low-carbon technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed mechanical cost estimates for plantrooms and energy centres.
• Interpret drawings to develop accurate cost breakdowns.
• Source and evaluate supplier quotations ensuring compliance.
