Job summary

Arup in Leeds is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to deliver water utilities projects across feasibility and design stages. You will provide mechanical input to pipelines, pumping systems and treatment facilities, working with a multidisciplinary team.

You will support project delivery under AMP8 frameworks for utilities clients and help develop junior staff, win work, and build networks across the water sector in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering water utilities projects including treatment, pumping and piping.
• Knowledge of BIM, Plant 3D or similar tools.
• Strong pumping system design knowledge.
• Degree qualified; Masters preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status or working toward chartership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver water utilities projects across feasibility and design stages.
• Provide mechanical input to projects and be responsible for engaging less experienced staff.
• Support and engage in work-winning activities and build networks in the industry.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
