Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer within the Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit. Reporting to the Turbine Island Lead, you will drive design development for Turbine Island and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and the supply chain to deliver robust engineering solutions.

Ideal candidates have nuclear/thermal power sector experience, familiarity with ASME/UK/EU codes, and a track record of safety-conscious design. SC clearance or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher and UK regulatory awareness.
• CEng or in-progress registration preferred for progression.
• Familiarity with nuclear safety, HAZOP/HAZID and engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Intelligent Customer Role: Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements by critically assessing designs.
