Job summary

Ramboll is hiring a Senior/Principal Mechanical Engineer for its Building Services team in the United Kingdom. You will lead mechanical work packages, act as discipline lead on selected projects, and mentor junior engineers while delivering high-quality, sustainable design.

You’ll collaborate with clients and a multidisciplinary team to translate requirements into reliable, on-site solutions. The role emphasises digital and parametric design, with opportunities to work on international signature

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanical or building-services engineer with proven track record.
• Engineering Council accredited honours degree or HNC with commitment to professional development.
• Senior role: professionally registered or working towards IEng/CEng; Principal: Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Lead large mechanical work packages and act as Mechanical Discipline Lead on projects.
• Represent Ramboll at design team and client meetings with clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Develop design strategies across all design stages, including supervision of on-site works.
