Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment seeks a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer (Static Equipment) for a London-based contract role with remote options. The position covers review of HRSG and ACC equipment, performance assessment, and bid evaluation for large-scale CCGT projects (500MW+).

The contract spans approximately 9 months with a mix of full-time and part-time hours. Occasional in-person meetings in London are expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience on large-scale CCGT projects (500MW+).
• Approximately 15 years of engineering experience, preferably in power generation.
• Hands-on HRSG and/or ACC equipment experience.
• Background in design review or as an owner's engineer.
• Available for occasional meetings in London.

Responsibilities

• Review HRSG and air-cooled condenser design and performance for large-scale CCGT projects (500MW+).
• Check pressure parts, vessels, and heat exchangers for compliance and performance.
• Assess vendor guarantees and fabrication approaches.
• Evaluate static equipment bids before project execution.
• Report findings and recommendations to the client.
