Kintec Global Recruitment in London is seeking a Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment for a contract role with remote flexibility. The position centers on reviewing HRSG and ACC equipment design and performance for large CCGT projects, ensuring compliance of pressure parts, vessels and heat exchangers.

Responsibilities include assessing vendor guarantees, evaluating fabrication approaches, and reporting findings to the client. Occasional meetings in London are expected for project alignment.

Formación

• 3+ years on large-scale CCGT projects
• Around 15 years of engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with HRSG and/or ACC equipment
• Background in design review or as an owner's engineer
• Ability to attend occasional meetings in London

Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment (Contract)

Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35)

Duration: Approximately 9 months (mix of full-time and part-time)

Key Responsibilities

• Review HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) and air-cooled condenser (ACC) design and performance for large-scale combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) projects (500MW+).
• Check pressure parts, vessels, and heat exchangers for compliance and performance.
• Assess vendor guarantees and fabrication approaches.
• Evaluate static equipment bids before project execution.
• Report findings and recommendations to the client.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience on large-scale CCGT projects (500MW+).
• Around 15 years of engineering experience, ideally within power generation.
• Hands-on experience with HRSG and/or ACC equipment.
• Background in design review or as an owner's engineer.
• Ability to attend occasional meetings in London.
