Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support rotating equipment on large CCGT projects in London, with occasional remote work.

The role requires extensive experience with gas and steam turbines, design reviews, and ownership-engineer tasks. Occasional London meetings are expected as part of project coordination.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience on large-scale CCGT projects (500MW+)
• Around 15 years' engineering experience, ideally in power generation
• Experience in design review or as an owner's engineer
• Able to attend occasional meetings in London

• Check turbine auxiliary systems and interfaces.
• Assess vendor performance guarantees.

Mechanical Engineer - Rotating Equipment

Location: London / Remote
Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35)
Sector: Power Generation (CCGT)
Duration: Approximately 9 months (mix of full-time and part-time)

Key Responsibilities

• Review gas turbine (GT) and steam turbine (ST) design, performance, and arrangement for large CCGT projects (500MW+).
• Check turbine auxiliary systems and interfaces.
• Assess vendor performance guarantees.
• Evaluate turbine bids as part of pre-execution screening.
• Report findings and recommendations to the client.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience on large-scale CCGT projects (500MW+).
• Around 15 years' engineering experience, ideally in power generation.
• Strong background in gas turbines and steam turbines.
• Experience in design review or as an owner's engineer.
• Able to attend occasional meetings in London.
