Position Description

PBS Offshore (Ponticelli UK Ltd) seeks a dynamic and ambitious individual to lead mechanical engineering activities within their designated asset. The role involves overseeing maintenance and reliability of mechanical systems, providing technical leadership, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily mechanical engineering support to offshore operations, ensuring system reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Technical Authorities to maintain mechanical system integrity.
  • Integrate planned maintenance into asset plans to optimize activities and reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate vendor activities, ensuring resource availability for maintenance tasks.
  • Support reliability engineers in implementing improvement programs and conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Promote HS&E processes to ensure safe mechanical operations.
  • Offer technical expertise during project execution and shutdowns.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders to update maintenance content in CMMS systems (UNISOL, SAP).
  • Resolve complex technical issues, guiding engineers and offshore teams.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables, including workpacks and technical reports.
Qualifications and Experience

Essential: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; significant experience in mechanical engineering within the energy sector; strong knowledge of offshore mechanical systems; proven maintenance strategy experience; leadership and communication skills.

Desirable: Master's degree; SAP certification; experience with static and rotating equipment maintenance; stakeholder management skills.
