EXPEDITE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LIMITED represents a Bristol-based MEP consultancy seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support a Principal engineer and a Director on diverse projects.

The role offers hybrid working, an enhanced annual leave allowance and room for progression within a growing Bristol office, with exposure to hotels, education and high-end residential schemes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Mechanical Building Services design experience.
• Ideally hold an industry relevant degree
• CEng or working towards chartership

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on multiple projects across hotels, motor showrooms, universities, schools, and high-end residential developments.
• Mentor and manage other engineers on the team.
• Assist growth of the Bristol office and team.
• Liaise with clients and external design teams; site surveys and visits.

ERS are partnered with one of Bristol’s most exciting up and coming MEP consultancies who are growing their Bristol team following a successful first half of 2025. A team currently made up of 5 engineers, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to support a Principal engineer and a Director on a variety of project sectors including commercial, residential and education.

Basics of the role

• Be a lead engineer on multiple projects across hotels, motor showrooms, universities, schools, and high-end residential developments
• Work with other engineers, mentoring and managing
• Help grow the office and team
• Client liaison work
• Prepare site surveys and attend site visits
• Liaise with external design teams
