Job summary

Assystem in Warrington is seeking an experienced engineer to support waste container design, requirements capture, and engineering activities across nuclear projects. You will mentor junior engineers and review drawings to BS8888/ISO standards while contributing to DFMEA/PFMEA and site surveys.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in design, manufacture, material selection, welding, and machining techniques, plus eligibility for SC clearance.

Qualifications

• High-level technical competency in a related field.
• Experience in preparing project documentation, processes, and reports.
• Demonstrable success in managing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and challenge requirements for existing waste containers and interface equipment.
• Assist as defined by the Engineering Manager and support engineering activities.
• Provide guidance and assurance to Senior Engineers and Designers.
• Assist in defining product requirements and understanding tolerances on interface drawings.
• Help compile Component Requirements Documents and support site surveys and survey reports.
• Assist in DFMEA and PFMEA and review drawings for accuracy.
