Qualifications

• High-level technical competency and significant experience in a related field.
• HNC or higher is required.
• Ability to create and develop new ideas.
• Experience in preparing project documentation, processes, and reports.
• Demonstrated success in managing stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of BS8888 and ISO-GPS (ISO 8015).
• Ability to check technical drawings per BS8888 and ISO 8015.
• Deep experience in design, manufacture, material selection, welding, fabrication and machining techniques.
• FMEA knowledge: DFMEA/PFMEA.
• Excellent written and verbal communicator.

• Assist Engineering Activities as defined by the Engineering Manager.
• Provide mentorship to Senior Engineers and Designers.
• Assist in defining product requirements.
• Guide understanding of tolerances on interface drawings.
• Help compile Component Requirements Documents.
• Support site surveys and production/review of survey reports.
• Assist in DFMEA and PFMEA.
• Check drawings and documents for accuracy.
• Identify and apply Lessons Learned to technical tasks.

Job Description

• Support Requirements Capture: Manage and challenge requirements for existing waste containers and interface equipment.
• Support Engineering Activities: Assist as defined by the Engineering Manager.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and assurance to Senior Engineers and Designers.
• Determine Engineering Requirements: Assist in defining product requirements.
• Tolerances Understanding: Guide understanding of tolerances on interface drawings.
• Compile Documents: Help in compiling Component Requirements Documents.
• Site Surveys: Support site surveys and the production/review of survey reports.
• DFMEA/PFMEA Support: Assist in Design and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis.
• Review Drawings: Check drawings and documents for accuracy.
• Deploy LFE: Identify and apply Lessons Learned from Experience for technical tasks.
