Job summary

Assystem is seeking a technically capable engineer to support requirements capture, engineering activities and documentation in a nuclear-themed program. The role involves mentoring, reviewing drawings, and assisting with DFMEA/PFMEA tasks, in a regulated environment.

Applicants should have an HNC or higher and experience with CAD (Inventor), along with strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Site work and safety-compliant tasks are a core part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries.
• Familiar with BS8888 drawing standards.
• Ability to prepare project documentation and reports.
• Good stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Education: HNC or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support Requirements Capture for waste containers and interface equipment.
• Assist Engineering activities under supervision.
• Provide mentorship to Senior Engineers and Designers.
• Assist in defining product requirements and tolerances.
• Review drawings and documents for accuracy.
• Support site surveys and survey reports.
• Assist in DFMEA/PFMEA tasks.
• Contribute to applying Lessons Learned (LFE).
