Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Leicester + Hybrid Working Arrangement

Role Type: Full time / Permanent

The role

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll manage the delivery of engineering and technical activities through the application of process, domain knowledge, and experience.

This is a full-time role, 37 hours per week, based in Warrington, Cheshire. It offers hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing customer relationships, liaising with clients, and developing new customer relationships.

Ensure procedures, codes, and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities.

Contribute to the Project Safety Assessment process.

Manage communication of task and project risks appropriately.

Produce, review, and approve calculations, analyses, drawings, models, design basis documentation, and technical reports as assigned.

Essential experience

• Experience working collaboratively in multi-discipline teams to deliver project activities.
• Demonstrable experience across a variety of tasks and complexities.
• Good communication skills and ability to interface with other disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC/HND in Engineering or equivalent experience with significant demonstrable expertise.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively working toward it.
• Security Clearance: Ability to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
