Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Bristol is seeking a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer to join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team on technically challenging projects. Hybrid working is available, and the role offers ownership of design delivery and client engagement.

You will design HVAC and Public Health systems, produce calculations and specifications, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to bids and project success across regulated sectors in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Mechanical Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Membership of CIBSE and working towards Chartered status.
• Proven experience delivering Mechanical Building Services projects.

Responsibilities

• Designing and specifying mechanical building services systems, including HVAC and Public Health systems.
• Delivering high-quality engineering solutions that comply with current regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Producing technical deliverables including calculations, specifications, reports, and design documentation.
• Working closely with clients, contractors, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams.

Education

Desirable Experience

Experience with any of the following would be highly advantageous:

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status
• Delivery of projects across multiple sectors
• Team leadership or line management experience
• IES Thermal Modelling
• Revit / AutoCAD / Navisworks
