Job summary
AFRY’s Energy Division in the UK is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Thermal and Renewable Energy team, with offices in London, Oxford, Horsham or Manchester. You will lead technical work across feasibility studies, due diligence, FEED, EPCM and operation support, contributing to ambitious projects that accelerate the energy transition.
We value Chartered Engineer status, a 2:1 degree in mechanical or chemical engineering, and strong consultancy experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2:1 degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status required.
- Relevant industry consultancy experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across design, analysis, and problem-solving for engineering projects.
- Deliver and review high-quality design outputs, reports, and documentation.
- Support construction through site inspections, testing, and risk mitigation.
- Contribute to business development and represent the company professionally.
- Mentor junior engineers and continuously develop technical expertise.
