Job summary

Ralliant in Glasgow seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design and development of complex enclosures and electromechanical assemblies for mission-critical applications. You will drive DFMA, GD&T, and DFMA while coordinating with Systems, Electrical, Firmware, Software, and Manufacturing teams.

The role requires hands-on ownership of BOMs, documentation, and ECN processes, with emphasis on thermal performance and reliability in demanding industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience designing electromechanical assemblies and enclosures.
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent.
• Experience with thermal management and environmental robustness.
• Experience with PLM/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of complex enclosures and assemblies.
• Perform thermal, structural, and modal analyses.
• Develop 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Support environmental qualification testing.
