About the company

This Building Services Design consultancy, based south-west of Leeds, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. They also consider experienced engineers capable of managing their own projects, including Principal Engineers at the top of their game.

With over 30 years of experience in building environments and low energy designs, they offer services including mechanical and electrical engineering consultancy, low carbon consultancy, BIM, and BREEAM. They work across sectors such as banking/finance, retail, leisure centres, student accommodation, high-rise buildings, conservation, and historical buildings. Their repeat clients provide opportunities for engineers to progress and learn quickly.

While a large proportion of work is within the M25 area around London, projects across the country allow for exposure to a range of schemes, large and small.

The team comprises around 30 experienced engineers, designers, and consultants collaborating to create energy-efficient systems from inception to completion. Their priority is to provide high standards of service, which has earned them a reliable reputation in building services and fostered long-term client relationships. They utilize industry-leading technology such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP to tailor systems to client needs.

Sustainability is central to their projects, offering reports on dynamic thermal modelling, low and zero carbon energy, and daylight calculations. In this role, you will support a Senior Engineer in a fast-paced environment, working on projects nationwide.

What they are looking for in a successful Senior Mechanical Engineer:

• Proven building services design experience within a consultancy, client, or contractor environment.
• Familiarity with software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Amtech, Relux, and Dialux is advantageous.
