Crux Product Design is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary projects in medical and consumer goods sectors. You will drive technical excellence, lead from the front, and help develop the team’s capabilities and processes.

The role is suitable for mid- to high-level experience, with opportunities to work on challenging briefs and engage with external stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• First class honours in a relevant accredited degree program.
• 7+ years in hands-on engineering roles with demonstrable achievements.
• Technical leadership with a track record of developing others.
• Strong problem solving using first principles and maths.
• Experience with a wide range of engineering processes.
• Experience managing clients or external stakeholders.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Crux, you will be leading high-profile client projects and playing a key role in the development of the team's capabilities and operating processes. You will lead from the front, consistently demonstrating excellence in analytical, creative and experimental activities to ensure the successful delivery of project work to your clients. Essential

What We're Looking For

• Achieved a First classification in a relevant accredited degree program.
• 7+ years of experience in hands-on engineering roles with demonstrable achievements.
• Technical leadership skills and an ambition to develop others in your areas of expertise.
• A track record of excellence in technical work and communication.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to apply "first principles" to problems.
• In-depth knowledge of a wide range of engineering processes.
• Experience managing clients, customers or other external stakeholders.

Desirable

• Experience in a consultancy environment.
• Experience in the medical, pharma or health industries.
