Responsibilities

  • Delivering mechanical engineering designs and technical solutions for complex systems.
  • Producing, reviewing, and approving engineering calculations and documentation.
  • Identifying, assessing, and resolving technical issues, risks, and design changes.

Job description

Role summary

Looking for an experienced mechanical engineering professional responsible for delivering complex engineering work packages within a highly regulated environment. The role focuses on providing robust, fit-for-purpose mechanical design solutions, supporting project delivery to cost and schedule, and acting as a technical authority within a specialist engineering area.

What you will be doing
  • Delivering mechanical engineering designs and technical solutions for complex systems and equipment
  • Producing, reviewing and approving engineering calculations, drawings, reports and design documentation
  • Applying relevant engineering standards, regulations and safety requirements throughout the design lifecycle
  • Identifying, assessing and resolving technical issues, risks and design changes

  • Contributing to safety assessments, design substantiation and assurance activities
