Purpose

You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
  • Initiate, manage, and supervise mechanical engineering project requirements as needed.
  • Perform mechanical engineering services such as participating in meetings, preparing reports, ensuring scope clarity, providing assistance during procurement, and preparing detailed designs and reports.
  • Act as the mechanical engineering Lead on specific projects if needed.
  • If responsible for a team, outline project requirements, promote workshare, assign tasks, supervise progress, and ensure services meet requirements on time and within budget.
  • Proactively resolve discrepancies between Worley and customer requirements.
  • Stay updated with latest developments in mechanical engineering.
  • Support junior personnel if required.
  • Communicate effectively with team and stakeholders.
  • Identify issues, develop solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Extensive relevant discipline experience.
  • Experience in project leadership roles.
  • Experience in estimating project costs and writing proposals.
  • Strong technical and practical engineering skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and standards.
  • Proficiency in mechanical engineering software and MS Office.
  • Substantial industry experience, including multidisciplinary projects.
Education and Qualifications
  • Required: 4 or 5-year Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Preferred: Degree in Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.
