The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently look for a Senior Mechanical Process Engineer in a leading Nuclear Defence Business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of nuclear process work packages to required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.
- Develop, lead, and manage one or more technical design packages.
- Ensure effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.
- Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.
- Ensure effective Quality Management Arrangements, operate and deliver through compliance with the client's Business Management System and Technical Manual
- Ensure that processes and activities being managed are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied.
What you need to Succeed
- Academic degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
- Chartered Engineer status and member of a relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience
- Nuclear introductory course or equivalent nuclear and/or marine system knowledge
- Knowledge of process design of large-scale industrial plant; construction techniques employed for Nuclear Safety-related process systems.
- Experience in designing and substantiating process engineering solutions to relevant codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions; experience in dock structures preferred.
- Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice as relevant to discipline, post, and project requirements.
- Sound project specification, planning, project management, and budgeting experience.
- Sound understanding of Company and departmental procedures relating to Design, Health & Safety, and Quality requirements.
