The Energy Division at Advanced Resource Manager is currently look for a Senior Mechanical Process Engineer in a leading Nuclear Defence Business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the delivery of nuclear process work packages to required scope, quality, schedule, and cost.
• Develop, lead, and manage one or more technical design packages.
• Ensure effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.
• Plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process.
• Ensure effective Quality Management Arrangements, operate and deliver through compliance with the client's Business Management System and Technical Manual
• Ensure that processes and activities being managed are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied.

What you need to Succeed

• Academic degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status and member of a relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience
• Nuclear introductory course or equivalent nuclear and/or marine system knowledge
• Knowledge of process design of large-scale industrial plant; construction techniques employed for Nuclear Safety-related process systems.
• Experience in designing and substantiating process engineering solutions to relevant codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions; experience in dock structures preferred.
• Sound understanding of engineering design and safety practice as relevant to discipline, post, and project requirements.
• Sound project specification, planning, project management, and budgeting experience.
• Sound understanding of Company and departmental procedures relating to Design, Health & Safety, and Quality requirements.
