Job summary

Une entreprise nucléaire bien connue au Royaume-Uni recherche un ingénieur mécanique senior pour travailler sur des projets prestigieux dans le secteur de la défense. Ce rôle de 12 mois exige une expertise en ingénierie avec une expérience sur des sites réglementés. Le candidat doit avoir un diplôme en ingénierie et être capable de prendre des décisions techniques tout en agissant comme référence technique.

Qualifications

• Expérience sur sites réglementés avec équipes multidisciplinaires.
• Capacité à gérer un champ d'ingénierie et à prendre des décisions techniques.
• Statut de Chartered souhaité.

Responsibilities

• Fournir un soutien technique à l'équipe et respecter les délais.
• Agir en tant qu'autorité technique ou ingénieur mécanique principal si nécessaire.
• Produire et examiner tous les documents techniques et approuver les calculs et modèles.

Job description

One of the most well–known nuclear companies in the UK is looking for senior mechanical engineers to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior mechanical engineer to work on some massive project in defence/nuclear sector.

• Job Title – Senior Mechanical Engineer
• Location – Newbury 2/3 days a week
• Contract Length – 12 Months
• Pay Rates – Up to GBP60.00 an hour (Inside IR35)

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to the team for you specialist area and ensure you are working to deadlines effectively
• Make engineering decisions from a project and technical stand point
• Act as the technical authority or lead mechanical engineer when required to do so.
• Ensure all change are assessed and managed accordingly to project scope
• Ensure the procedures and engineering codes are consistently met and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce and review all technical documents and approve calculations, analysis, drawings and models for design documents and technical reports.

Expected qualifications:

• An engineering degree in a relevant field
• Experience in working in heavily regulated sites with multiple discipline teams
• Demonstrated experiences in covering a wide range of tasks across a range of complexities
• Experience in managing an engineering scope
• Chartered status preferred (DESIRED)
