The role:

In this role, you will take the technical lead in designing electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery, primarily for surveillance and fire control solutions. Responsibilities include leading design efforts using SolidWorks, performing engineering analysis (stress, fatigue, and vibration), and conducting lab testing to verify design outputs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems, support production and testing, and provide technical reports. Additionally, you will work closely with project managers and sales teams to ensure timely delivery and assist with bids and proposals.

What we want from you:

• Experienced in designing complex mechanisms and structures.
• Proven track record in leading the design of systems from concept through to production, based on detailed specifications.
• Skilled in analysing loads and developing solutions for drive mechanisms and motor systems.
• Knowledgeable in machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding techniques.
• Proficient in using 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
