Job summary

EnerMech, a specialist service company, invites applications for a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in Aberdeen. You will work in a busy team delivering mechanical scope, drawings and calculations while mentoring junior engineers and solving client needs.

The role requires a degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, chartered status if possible, and experience in infrastructure, pharma or energy sectors with hands-on use of mathcad, MATLAB and 3D modelling tools.

The Role and Responsibilities

EnerMech currently have an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the Engineering team based in Aberdeen . You will join a busy and growing team working on projects supporting our Lifting Solutions Engineering team. In your role you will work as part of a team of engineers to provide delivery of mechanical work scopes, working on designs to solve clients' needs in a collaborative team environment. Specific tasks will include supporting work scope methodologies, providing drawings and calculations. The role will also involve mentoring and directing junior technical engineers.

The Requirements

Someone who is degree or HND qualified in mechanical engineering or similar and/or a chartered member with a relevant institution such as IMechE/IMarE/IET. You will have carried out a mechanical engineering role in the infrastructure, pharma or energy sectors. You'll have experience of executing engineering calculations (MathCad, Matlab, 3D modelling and simulation software).
