Job summary

Alpine F1 Team in Enstone is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to head the Mechanical Design group. You will lead technically and managerially, delivering performance improvements year-on-year while mentoring engineers and championing engineering excellence to push for podiums.

You should have a degree in Engineering with strong knowledge of manufacturing techniques and materials. CAD experience with Catia V5/3DX is preferred; NX training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Must have an engineering degree and strong technical background.
• Experience in high-performance engineering environments preferred.
• Hands-on design delivery with mentoring responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Determine technical requirements with department heads.
• Own Detailed Design Specifications and Project plans.
• Carry out conceptual work using simulations and 3D modelling.
• Lead a group of engineers to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Approve the work of reports as part of the design process.
