Alpine Racing Limited in Enstone is seeking a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to head a high-performance design team. You will own design work from concept to deliverables, collaborating with the Head of Mechanical and other departments to meet ambitious performance targets.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strong CAD experience (Catia V5/3DX preferred; NX acceptable with training), and a proactive approach to mentoring engineers.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Senior-level experience in design, ideally in F1 or motorsport.
• CAD experience required; Catia V5/3DX preferred; training offered for NX.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Lead the mechanical design team, delivering on schedule and budget.
• Define technical requirements with the Head of Mechanical and other leaders.
• Own detailed design specifications and project plans.
• Carry out conceptual work using simulations and 3D modelling.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop their capabilities.
