AZTRUM in Manchester is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its Building Services/MEP team. You will lead mechanical design across a diverse project portfolio, delivering efficient and sustainable engineering solutions in line with client requirements.

The role requires strong technical knowledge of ventilation, heating/cooling, water services and drainage, with proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD and industry standards.

• Manage client relationships and establish project requirements, scopes of work and design deliverables.

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, reports and design documentation.
• Monitor project progress and manage design changes within timescales and budgets.
• Undertake site surveys and information gathering to inform design solutions.
• Develop sustainable, energy-efficient and low-carbon design solutions.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
