Job summary

Assystem UK Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to develop fluid systems and lead 2D/3D CAD design across disciplines. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver compliant, safe designs for complex projects.

You will collaborate with the supply chain on design reviews and ensure adherence to safety factors, tolerances, and standards. The role follows the Turbine Island Lead and requires SC clearance or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mechanical Design Engineer in regulated environments is preferred.
• Proficient with 2D CAD (AutoCAD) and 3D CAD/BIM tools listed above.
• SC Clearance or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Develop 2D CAD drawings, including PFD and P&ID.
• Prepare 3D CAD/BIM models, plant layouts, piping design, isometrics, MTO.
