Job summary

TAIT is seeking a competent and experienced MDE Level III design engineer to execute all design phases of complex live-event projects. This role may take overall project responsibility and mentor team members while maintaining knowledge of cutting-edge technology.

The successful candidate will oversee technical and budgetary constraints, collaborate with senior engineers, and contribute to high-performance teams in a dynamic, globally active environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Demonstrated 3D CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Inventor desirable).
• Active engagement in Continuous Professional Development.

Responsibilities

• Execute all design phases of a project or multiple projects.
• Mentor and support staff; delegate work and plan resources.
• Lead design reviews and release production drawings and BOMs.
• Perform calculations and analyses using hand calcs, Excel, and CAD tools.
• Support bid teams with product data sheets and client information.
