Cubed Resourcing on behalf of a global leader in high-speed metal forming machinery invites an experienced Senior Design Engineer to own technical solutions from concept to delivery at the UK HQ in Bradford.

You will lead cross-functional teams, apply GD&T, develop test plans, and contribute IP protection as part of the NPD process. The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and CAD proficiency, with up to £70k salary and up to 15% bonus.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to technical projects.
• Experienced user of CAD systems to create models and drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Act as Project Design Authority delivering the complete technical solution.
• Generate requirements from customer needs and specifications.
• Develop concepts to meet functional requirements.
• Document assumptions, trade-offs and calculations in the design file.
• Evaluate concepts and mitigate risks using FMEA.
• Prepare technical reports for gate reviews.
• Generate test plans to verify concepts and system performance.
• Support IP protection and use of NPD processes across projects.
• Coordinate with Quality to define inspection requirements.
