Job summary

Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for our Manchester team. The role combines design with client interaction, surveys and project management, taking projects from initial design through to delivery.

We welcome an engineer who can own projects, engage with stakeholders, and work across Education, Healthcare, Local Authority and Social Housing sectors. Hybrid working applies post-probation.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5+ years in mechanical building services engineering.
• Experience taking projects beyond design through construction.
• AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Produce mechanical building services designs across projects.
• Take projects from brief to construction and completion.
• Attend client meetings and provide technical advice.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Undertake surveys and site inspections.
• Support development of in-house mechanical engineering capability.
